This is a calander which gives an integrated look to Martyrs of Hindustan Socialist Republican Association along with a tribute to three mothers of Martyr rajguru , Bhagat Singh and Mother of Sukhdev.

It is traslating Bhagat Singh's last words.

From statement in Assembly Bomb Case

 

" We humbly claim to be no more than serious students of the history and conditions of our country and her aspirations. We despise hypocrisy, Our practical protest was against the institution, which since its birth, has eminently helped to display not only its worthlessness but its far-reaching power for mischief. The more we have pondered the more deeply we have been convinced that it exists only to demonstrate to the world Indian's humiliation and helplessness, and it symbolizes the overriding domination of an irresponsible and autocratic rule. Time and again the national demand has been pressed by the people's representatives only to find the waste paper basket as its final destination."

From High court statement in above case 

 

"  In our statement we explained in detail what we mean by "Long Live Revolution" and "Down With Imperialism". That formed the crux of our ideas. That portion was removed from our statement. Generally a wrong meaning is attributed to the word revolution. That is not our understanding. Bombs and pistols do not make revolution. The sword of revolution is sharpened on the whetting-stone of ideas. This is what we wanted to emphasise. By revolution we mean the end of the miseries of capitalist wars. It was not proper to pronounce judgement without understanding our aims and objects and the process of achieving them. To associate wrong ideas with our names is out and out injustice."

 

Spirt of Revolution

 
The sense in which the word Revolution is used in that phrase, is the spirit, the longing for a change for the better. The people generally get accustomed to the established order of things and begin to tremble at the very idea of a change. It is this lethargical spirit that needs be replaced by the revolutionary spirit. Otherwise degeneration gains the upper hand and the whole humanity is led astray by the reactionary forces. Such a state of affairs leads to stagnation and paralysis in human progress. The spirit of Revolution should always permeate the soul of humanity, so that the reactionary forces may not accumulate (strength) to check its eternal onward march. Old order should change, always and ever, yielding place to new, so that one "good " order may not corrupt the world. It is in this sense that we raise the shout "Long Live Revolution." My dear didi

I am going to the next-world, where there is no worldly pains and there would not have to struggle for a better life. Where, there will have death or mortality. I am not going to die but going to live forever. After comrade Bakshi's release, say my love with regards to him and tell him that I breathed last with a firm mind and cheerful heart. The last day is Monday. If you could get an opportunity, you may have interview for the last. If circumstances are not favourable then I depart from all of you forever. Accept my last Bande.... let me pass away. You will come to know afterwards that how I die. May God be with you, with all His blessings. My B.C.¹ to Baba² and love to Savetri³, Gaur⁴, Kanoo⁶ and other children and Bandey⁷ to Nepal⁸. B.C. to all my elders and love to the youngers. It is my desire to see you all once more in my life. You may come if possible. I think of God and feel not for me. Let Bakshi know about me. I regard you as my sister and you would not forget me. Be cheerful I am dying like Heroes.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh's Letter to Sister of Sh B K Dutt

Dear Sister,
    Yesterday Battu himself wrote a letter informing you not to come here till you receive his letter. Battu was transferred yester night to some other jail. Upto this time we are quite in dark about his destination.Anyhow I would earnestly request you not to leave Banaras for Lahore. His separation is unbearable for me too.It is only today that I feel quite perplexed and every moment has become a burden. Really it is very hard to be separated with a friend more dear than my brothers. Any how we must bear all patiently . I will request you to keep courage. Do'nt  to stress. Something good will come out of it all.

This letter was written to Shmt Promila Devi sister of Sh Bhatukeswar Dutt  from Central Jail Lahore on his transfer from that jail. It is worth noting that the Lahore Consipiracy case was withdran against him to weaken the solidarity   of Bhagat Singh and B K Dutt . This showed the panic the two had created in the minds of British rulers, who always feared that they together can create a situation which could shake their consipiracy of disposing off the revolutionary key persons.

है बस के हर इक उनके इशारे में निशाँ औ

करते हैं मोहब्बत तो गुज़रता है गुमाँ और  

उनकी जानिब से इशारे तो ज़रूर होते हैं, लेकिन उन इशारों का मतलब समझना 

 बहुत मुश्किल है। इसलिए जब वो मोहब्बत करते हैं तो भी हमें यक़ीन नहीं 

होता के क्या ये वाक़ई हमसे मोहब्बत कर रहे हैं या सिर्फ़ मज़ाक़ किया जा रहा है। 

यारब न वो समझे हैं न समझेंगे मेरी बात

दे और दिल उनको जो न दें मुझको ज़ुबाँ और

ऎ ख़ुदा, वो मेरी बात न अब तक समझे हैं और न आगे समझेंगे, ऎसी मुझे पूरी 
उम्मीद है। इसलिए अगर तू मुझे ऎसी ज़ुबान नही देता जिस में इतना असर हो 
के उन्हें अपनी बात समझा सके तो फिर उनको ही ऎसा दिल देदे जो मेरी बात 
समझ सके।

अबरू से है क्या उस निगहा-ए-नाज़ को पेवन्द

है तीर मुक़रर्र, मगर उसकी है कमाँ और

उनकी आँखों को तीर बरसाना तो ख़ूब आता है। लेकिन इन तीरों की कमान 
अबरू (भवें) नहीं हैं। निगा-ए-नाज़ के तीर तो चलते हैं लेकिन इन तीरों की 
कमान कोई और ही है।

 

तुम शहर में हो तो हमें क्या ग़म जब उठेंगे ले आएँगे

बाज़ार से जाकर दिल-ओ-जाँ और 

तुम्हारे शहर में होने की वजह से दिल-ओ-जान ख़ूब बिक रहे हैं। क्योंके लोग
इनसे बेज़ार हो गए हैं और इन्हें फ़रोख़्त करना चाहते हैं। इसलिए हमें कोई ग़म 
नहीं है अगर हमारे दिल-ओ-जान चले गए हैं तो हम दूसरे ख़रीद लाएँगे।

लोगों को है ख़ुरशीद-ए-जहाँताब का धोकाहर

रोज़ दिखाता हूँ मैं इक दाग़-ए-निहाँ और

मेरे सीने में बेशुमार दाग़ छुपे हुए हैं। सूरज जो रोज़ चमकता हुआ दिखाई देता 
है, दरअसल वो मेरे दिल का एक दाग़ होता है। लोग धोका खाते हैं और इसे 
चमकता हुआ सूरज समझ लेते हैं।  

पाते नहीं जब राह तो चढ़ जाते हैं नाले 

रुकती है मेरी तबआ तो होती है रवाँ और 

पानी बहता रहता है तो बहता रहता है, लेकिन अगर वो रुक जाए या रोक दिया 

जाए तो वो चढ़ जाता है। इसी तरह जब मेरी तबीयत रुकती या रोकी जाती है 

तो उसमें और ज़्यादा रवानी पैदा हो जाती है। 

हैं और भी दुनिया में सुख़नवर बहुत अच्छे 

कहते हैं के ग़ालिब का है अन्दाज़-ए-बयाँ और 

दुनिया में तो कई अच्छे अच्छे शायर हैं। लेकिन लोग कहते हैं के ग़ालिब की 
बात  ही कुछ और है। किसी बात को बयान करने का ग़ालिब का अन्दाज़ सबसे 
जुदा, सबसे अलग है। मतलब कई अच्छे अच्छे शायर हैं लेकिन सबसे अच्छा 
शायर अगर कोई है तो वो ग़ालिब है।
